We were very comfortable in the Casita. It is really a great location - we could walk everywhere. Close to grocery store, the beaches, and everything downtown. The noise machine and the fans helped mute traffic noise. Great for a couple.
That being said, the kitchenette isn't even really that. It is a place to make coffee and slice cheese. The refrigerator is dorm-sized - big enough for cream and a few snacks or beverages. The "induction cooktop" is merely a hot plate! While it's not conducive to cooking, there are tons of dishes, pans and enough silverware for a camp. One drawer is filled with butter knives.
There are two beds in the unit - one in a "bedroom," where the kitchenette is, and one in the living room. The bedroom has a door, but also an open doorway. There would be no privacy if other people were there. The living room was comfortable, but again a bit odd because there is a bed in it.
The patio is terrific. It's a great place to hang out, and there is, in fact, a grill out there. There is a heater as well. And a chest freezer in case you need a whole lot of ice.
It would help to have extra sheets in the unit, extra towels, and a designated spot to place dirty linens. We were there for over a week and wanted to change sheets when our daughter came for one night. There are beach towels and even chairs in a closet for guests to use - a nice feature.
We would definitely stay again. Perfect for a couple who don't care about cooking. Seriously, you couldn't even make breakfast in the kitchen unless you cooked it all in one pan.
