Quiet, cozy house with GREAT location to the park entrance

My husband, pup and I stayed two nights at the Sunset Roost for our first trip to Joshua Tree, and it couldn't be more perfect! Susan was very accomodating and even let us know the house was ready a few hours early for us. Our dog Had a great time in the yard and we loved cooking dinner on the BBQ after a day in the park. The house was very well equipped for everything we needed during our stay, and we were especially impressed with how many kitchen supplies they had available for us - it was just as equipped as our kitchen at home! The location of this house couldn't have been better. It was just a few blocks away from the Joshua Tree Park entrance, and right next to the visitor's center. There were also several shops and cafe's within walking distance of the house, which was nice to have access to. We felt right at home - thank you, Susan!

Pretty basic. Very comfortable and clean.

Great location for accessing the magnificent national park. The house is not much to look at but certainly met our needs. And it sort of grows on you. We noticed a stale tobacco smell, though, that did not grow on us. Overall, a fine place.
