Perfect Home for a Desert Getaway

      5 of 5
My friends and I decided to do a weekend getaway to Joshua Tree, and we lucked out finding the The Starlight House. It was a perfect space for relaxation, cooking/eating, and recreation, with everyone having ample room to themselves. The house has cool features, like a great patio out front, a pool table, a really impressive non-Master bedroom design, and a full, open kitchen. The complex also offers a hot tub, which was the cherry on top of our weekend stay. Finally, the house is just off the main drag of serene Joshua Tree, and it is easy to get to both the national park and other surrounding areas. We hiked nearby, and it was a blast. This house is a great foundation for your Joshua Tree experience. We would definitely stay here again!

A Great Vacation and the perfect spot for us!

      4 of 5
This location was exactly what we expected when we arrived! The home was nice and large, well furnished and stocked with all the essentials needed, and very clean. Being a distance away from the town was a worry of ours at first but after we spent more time there, we found we never wanted to leave the home because we were having too much fun there! Everything was exactly as pictured and we had great communication between the owner and the property manager who answered all of our questions. The only cons for us were that there was no trash bin on site so we had to drive to take the trash to the dumpster (which isn't really far at all) but with 34 people in a cabin, their trash piles up fast. Also, there was some exposed re-bar around the playground that was hidden in the snow that some of our members tripped over and caused them to fall. Lastly, we couldn't get the sound system to work but it didn't matter as we brought blue tooth speakers anyway. Overall, the house was very well stocked, had everything we needed, and was a blast to stay at! I would definitely recommend this location for large group gatherings and events!
