                          Cool Studio with Amazing View

                          4 of 5
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a fun spot for the right type of traveler. It is near the top of a very steep hill in the Castro district, thus the wonderful view of the city. This is not a spot for older people who might have difficulty with the steepness of the location. After the cab left me at the location, I had to lay my suitcases down flat on the driveway so that they would not roll down the hill. If you do not have a car, the nearest restaurants are about a 10 minute walk away (don't forget you have to walk uphill to get back.) I thoroughly enjoyed the walk. The view is just as beautiful as it appears. A draw back is that there are two straight chairs and a tiny table on the deck. The deck begs for furniture that is comfortable so that the view can be fully appreciated. Upright chairs are not conducive to sitting on the deck enjoying a drink and the San Francisco skyline. Otherwise the studio is clean and comfortable , the bathroom is lovely, and the location is quiet. Traveling as a single women, I liked knowing the owner was just above me. I would highly recommend this property to the traveler who likes to walk.

                          Great flat for 1-2 people

                          5 of 5
I spent 3 days in this lovely flat. It is as comfortable and accessible as it is gorgeous! The kitchen is nicely equipped, the dining table is huge so it doubled as my workstation during my stay there, and the bedroom is very cozy. The location is great, within walking distance to points of interest and shops. Yoga Tree is just a 5 minute walk from the place and they have drop-in classes with mat rental, so my practice did not miss a beat. Very nice gourmet grocery shops nearby. Callie is very pleasant and attentive to work with.

Good location and decent place to stay

                          4 of 5
The location of this apartment is great. It's right in the Castro, close enough to everything that it's an easy walk, but far enough to not be overrun with people. It's a short uber or cab ride to all the touristy stuff downtown. We didn't try to figure out any public transit stuff, so I can't comment on how convenient it is for that. The unit itself is pretty nice with a large bed in the big bedroom and a good sized living room with a couch and two chairs. The couch pulls out into a bed (full size I believe). It'd be tough to get 4 people in this apartment unless two people are ok sleeping in a full size bed together. We had three people so it was no issue. The apartment came with towels and toiletries and was pretty clean (the kitchen was not the cleanest, but we never used it). The biggest complaint I have is the windows. They are drafty and let a lot of noise in. I was woken up in the morning by pedestrians and pigeons, because the windows let so much noise in that it sounded like they were all standing above my bed. The draft also makes the room a bit chilly, especially at night. Luckily there were a lot of blankets to keep us warm. Overall, I'd recommend this apartment for a stay! Especially given the price we paid, it was very good!
