For anyone who wants to absorb all that the LA area has to offer, this Encino home is the perfect hub. It was central to everything and there is so much to do -- hiking, theme parks, diverse beaches for every taste, studio tours, culture and plenty of food and shopping! We also spent a day at Channel Islands National Park, which is supposedly the least visited National Park in the country...too bad for everyone who passed it up...it's like setting foot in a completely different civilization!
Now...about the house...it is perfect! We are a family of four and found everything we could possibly need and want here. Imagine spending a day out in the city and coming home tired and hungry, throwing some steaks on the grille, lounging by the pool or relaxing in the hot tub and looking out over the valley. OR...go inside to a super equipped kitchen, or comfy living room and get out of the sun. The neighborhood itself is lovely. We spent our nights sitting outside playing UNO and couldn't hear one neighbor. The property and house are immaculate, but not so much that you're afraid to move.
Art, the owner, is great! He met us at the house on our arrival and went over every detail. He gave us some great ideas for restaurants, hiking and other things to do. It's not just a rental to him...as soon as you sit down and start talking, you immediately know he wants you to have the best vacation ever!
I totally recommend this vacation paradise...the perfect retreat from everything stressful in life!
