        Great location & amenities

Pictures are very accurate. Comfortable beds and furniture. Location can't be beat if you want to enjoy the restaurants, shopping and wine tasting rooms on State Street. Management was very responsive when we reported an issue with the front gate lock. Issue was fixed same day. This condo is on the top floor of an office building so no other tourists in the building. Security is excellent. We decided that Santa Barbara will be a repeat trip and I will definitely book with Paradise Retreats due to their top-notch service.

Perfect spot with incredible views to enjoy all that Santa Barbara offers

You will be very happy if you rent this place! First, the location. It's close enough that we walked to downtown restaurants and bars in 15 minutes, but it's on a quieter part of State street. It's also on Mission street, which means that you can walk a few blocks to the historic mission building and the beautiful grounds (or run each day like I did), and you can also jump onto 101 4 blocks away to be anywhere. Within 2 blocks there is McConnell's ice cream, 3 brunch spots, a great taqueria, and even a 7-11 for everything. And all the beaches are a 5-10 minute drive away. The condo itself is giant and full of TONS of light. Tons. There are windows on all 4 sides of the penthouse unit, which seems impossible, but they did it. So you can see the ocean in the distance, the entire mountain range, and watch the sunset from the kitchen. Very high ceilings, too. Plus you get the bonus of the artwork of the very talented artist/owner. Did I mention the deck is bigger than my entire condo back home? That was a highlight of our stay and we spent most nights eating dinner, BBQing, or having a cocktail outside. Oh, there's also a garage, which was a nice treat. Lastly, the owner (Philip) was great to work with and responded to my emails within hours, and was incredibly helpful. The whole experience was easy and enjoyable, and I'd stay there again...
