We had a delightful stay at the Cleveland Cabin during the 2016 Bicycle Tour De Tahoe. The house is well situated, convenient to the lake and in a woodsy, quiet neighborhood. The house was more spacious than we expected, rustic with lovely details: beautiful working fireplace, quirky rustic furniture and decorations (inspired good conversations), books and board games-- like a hunter's lodge meets woman's parlor--kitschy cool! There was plenty of room in the common spaces and each of the four bedrooms were comfortable; our group had plenty of space to come together but also find quiet corners to do our own thing. It was a bit dark in the interior but that lent to the general ambiance, lamps provided adequate reading light. Wireless was consistently strong in the living room and netflix streamed fine. So many peaceful spots in and around the cabin. I enjoyed sipping coffee, sitting around on the front porch, which was equipped with two chairs and a rustic table. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans etc--a joyful cooking space that seemed to have everything we needed, we cooked several meals inside and also made use of the fabulous outdoor gas grill. After our long bicycle rides, we hung out in the fenced in backyard, an oasis with hot tub, gas grill and picnic table (nifty wagon wheel light above the picnic table). I would stay there again, for the price it is a lovely set up. I recommend this place for families or small groups looking for a comfortable home base from which to explore Lake Tahoe.
