This rental is amazing! Ask the owner to send you the website with the photos. I don't know why there are not more photos shown here -- you have to see it to believe it! As the other reviewer mentioned, it has everything you need without being too fancy and worrying about making a mess. 8 family members (including myself) stayed here for a week this summer. We had lots of friends and family in the area and this was the best place to entertain I can imagine. The living room is a large open space with a circular couch surrounding a hanging fireplace in one corner, a dining room table in another corner, an "L" shaped couch in another, and booth seating under a lighted umbrella in another. If it sounds crowded, let me assure you that it isn't - it's a very BIG room that has an amazing view of the beach. The location is directly across from the Ocean, near the Alamitos Bay, the Belmont Pier and Belmont Shore shopping and restaurants. And the rooftop patio is the icing on the cake. We enjoyed many an evening there with a glass of wine enjoying some beautiful sunsets. The only downside, is that there is not a lot of closed off rooms for sleeping. The master bathroom is the most private, but even it has a partial door to one hallway. There's one room w/bunkbeds in the back but there is an accordian door and so it's not soundproof either. The other sleeping areas are in more open spaces, but are well equipped and both bathrooms are great. When we arrived, there were some lighting issues in the kitchen, but Vicki, the landlord had someone come to take care of it the next day. This is a place that is great for parties, large families, walk lovers and relaxers. The style of the rental is circa 1980's, but it is part of what makes it so unique. You won't be disappointed with this place - especially if you need lots of room and want to be beachside in Belmont Shore.
