I had high expectations when I booked this place, but even then I was not prepared for how special it really is. The owners are friendly and gracious, and they could not have made us feel more welcome. The cottage is quaint, comfortable, very private, and a unique place to stay in the LA area. Each morning we awoke to the sounds of birds and the scent of jasmine flowers, and in the evenings we watched the lights of the city twinkle while sipping wine on the private terrace. Even though the cottage feels like it's a world away, it's quick and easy to get to Beverly Hills, Westwood, I-405, Century City, and Sherman Oaks.
Different from the pictures in the listing, two chairs and a coffee table have been added to the space. They don't make it feel crowded and they are a nice touch. The coffee maker, electric tea kettle, and mini fridge were exactly what we needed for our morning drinks and to have a chilled bottle of wine in the evenings.
I could go on but I'd need to break out my thesaurus in order to come up with more superlatives. I'll simply say that the cottage and our stay were perfect and we're already looking forward to another visit.
