Hated to leave my new home on the West Coast!

5 of 5
I stayed for six nights at this charming bungalow. It was perfect for me. The spectacular view has already been mentioned. The small kitchen of microwave and half-fridge was all I required, and the bathroom was supplied with fluffy towels and a variety of products. The bed was very comfortable and made with high-quality linens and pillows. I slept VERY well. The space was spotless. While it was too cold to use the pool, the owners make it clear that I was welcome to share it with them, as well help myself to the oranges from the trees! The owners are very friendly but work long hours during the week, so other than housekeeping and landscaping personnel, you have the place to yourself. There is a designated parking place onsite. The location was perfect for me and convenient to UCLA, Santa Monica, and West L.A. You're not far from Mulholland Drive and quick routes into the Valley. It felt very safe; I slept with the door open to the screen to get cool night air. There's also convenient access to the 405 via Sunset Blvd. This property may not be perfect for those who want to sleep late and would be bothered by renovation construction noise from the neighborhood. My Verizon cell coverage was spotty. Also, the blinds are not completely opaque, so total privacy at night is not possible with the lights on inside. But for me, it was absolutely perfect. I really felt like I was leaving my own bungalow. I look forward to returning!
