          Cute Cabin

          4 of 5
I chose this place primarily for the location. A friend of mine had her son visiting from Maryland so we planned a Big Bear weekend of snowboarding and the location was perfect! It was a 4 minute walk to her cabin! The cabin turned out to be a great choice. It has recently been made over, new carpet, fresh paint, nicely decorated. It was clean and nicely furnished. All of the beds were new, very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was clean and decently stocked, although there weren't any baking pans or mixing bowls. I would suggest picking up some disposable foil baking pans if you plan to bake cookies, as we did. The owner was very responsive and helpful. He had snow discs and a sled that he let us use for our stay. It is about a 45 minute drive to the snowboard resorts. Thankfully the roads were clear during our stay so the drive up and back was not bad. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay. I'm sure I will stay here again!

          Great place for a getaway

          5 of 5
Very cozy cabin with new appliances, gas fireplace and a Keurig coffee machine (also regular coffee maker). Nice to have a bathtub to soak in after a snow day (shower included). Would like to have instructions on how to use the tv as we never could get it to work. Also, in case of a power outage, which we had, the electronic combination door lock locks you out of the house. The lock reset after several tries and the door opened. Nearby Deep Creek Drive-up restaurant within walking distance on main highway. Good Mexican food served there. I would stay here again for sure.
