Rustic Heaven with the Million $ Location and View

        4 of 5
so pleased we got this sweet little spot. What a great "cabin" with all you need. We so loved the history of the place and Jim's lineage to it. Thanks so much for the trail / road walking info. We loved the 5+K walk and did it all 3 mornings. Next time we will get to the 10K one. It was lovely to sit inside or out with a coffee or beverage and soak in that view. I loved having a bean grinder and complimentary fresh roast local beans for coffee fixings. And on top of that what a pleasant surprise having a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us! The one large space is roomy and rustic , with all you need to cook or not. Nice touches like the aromatherapy diffuser did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Thanks again. For us the only down was the super soft/ soggy bed. We are firm bed types so it was a challenge to say the least :-) See you again!

        Perfect cabin

        5 of 5
I stayed at the Lion's Den with a non-profit group for our executive planning retreat. We slept 7 adults in the cabin and it was cozy but worked out great. Nice to have three bathrooms. There is a big TV that we were able to hook up to a laptop instead of bringing a projector for the business plan we were putting together. I know this is not needed in every case but was very helpful for us. The owner was very easy to work with and got back to me within a day. The wood stove is lovely and warms everything up really nicely, and there is lots of fire wood stocked outside. The hot tub is nice and big and was a wonderful way to unwind. Needless to say as it's at a ski hill, the surroundings are serene and beautiful. All in all, highly recommended for a group or a family retreat.
