                                              Fabulous time at Sunset Beach

                                              5 of 5
My family of six spent 10 fabulous days recently in condo B1 at Sunset Beach. The condo was the perfect size for us. It was nicely furnished with a great open floor plan. As nice as the inside was, we spent most of our time outside on the porch, at the pool and hanging out on the beach front property. Sunset Beach is very well maintained. The staff that worked with us was wonderful, all our expectations were exceeded. We used SUYA tours for all our excursions while there and got wonderful personal service. We would go back in a heart beat we had such a great time! We're already recommending Sunset Beach to everyone we share our fabulous vacation.

Amazing house, wonderful hosts, unforgettable trip!

                                              5 of 5
We (5 friends) stayed at Casa Rana for 6 days in Jun-16. We had an amazing time-my only complaint is that it was too short! AC is the ideal combination of comfort & culture. It has lots of luxury offerings like Casa Rana but the island is relaxed & unpretentious. There are plenty of opportunities to experience authentic Belizean culture & breathtaking natural beauty. San Pedro offers great restaurants (try Wild Mangos), beach bars (try Palapa Bar), and a local clubby / dancey bars. It’s accessible to backpackery Caye Caulker and the mainland (15 min prop plane/~1.5hr boat). Warning: prepare for sand fleas when outside! The house is BEAUTIFUL! It is like new, luxurious, clean & comfortable. It has a small pool & fairly nice beach; the island itself does not have a lot of beaches bc the reef prevents their formation-this one is v nice by comparison. Our favorite spot was under the palapa (open sided structure @ the end of the dock). Put on lots of sunscreen there because being on the water burns you big time w/o you noticing. You can get into the water off the beach or the palapa The house is as depicted-no surprises. The kitchen is well equipped; get your groceries delivered before arrival. The beds are made & house is tidied every day. Towels/sheets changed every 3 days. There is AC in BRs. They have kayaks & you can rent snorkels a short way down the beach. Warning: wifi is not great; I could only work from one of the bedrooms & it’s slow-you can connect your phone for light activity from most of the house though. The location is perfect; it’s secluded/quiet but accessible to town near Mexico Rocks ~6mi north of town. The paved road goes to the house. One way, it is a 15min water taxi (US$65) or 25min golf cart. You can also take the ferry for ~US$10-15pp Richard & Diana (owners) and James & Bea (caretakers) will take amazing care of you. They made our vacation perfect! They live in houses on the property so are around to help. V respectful of our privacy & super nice people. Richard helped us choose & organize all our activities in advance and arranged our airport transfers from San Pedro. We did a full day sailing/snorkelling trip on El Gato-highly recommend. We also did an unforgettable day trip to the mainland to see Mayan ruins & go cave tubing. They can arrange massages & delicious catered meals at the villa (Bea is an amazing cook) I would give it 6 stars if I could – would definitely visit again. Thx so much for having us!

                                              Trip of a lifetime

                                              5 of 5
My husband and I arrived on 4/9/16 to a two week stay to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Everything was totally smooth in that Judy (one amazing lady, just love her) took care of all the arrangements including our flights on Tropic Air. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the condo. The condo was great, exactly as pictured on the VRBO site and had everything you could want or need. Location was perfect, away from the hustle and noise of the city but still just a short golf cart ride away. By the way, a golf cart is a must if you plan on exploring the island which you absolutely should. Chapin, the caretaker was super friendly and helpful. We did everything . . . and then some. Bone fishing with Abner Marin from Gofishbelize was the pinnacle of the trip for my husband who is an avid fisherman. If you want the best fishing experience of your life, go with Abby. He is also a super cool person to spend the day with. Reef fishing, snorkeling, trip to Lamanai (if you are a history buff at all don't miss this) & swimming with sharks. Ramon's was the best place to book all your trips they were fantastic. If you catch fresh fish, take it to Pineapples at Ramons and they will fix you the most fantastic meal for $10US per person and the view from their dining area is fabulous. OK, so now for more good stuff . . . the food. Oh my! If you know where to go you will get the most amazing food and can eat for about $15 a day if you are on a really tight budget. There are a couple of upscale restaurants that are really pricey, but you can get food just as good at other places for half the price. Must visit: Robin's chicken (absolutely the best jerked chicken and sides ever) $7.00 US per person. For ceviche - go to Caliente's HUGE servings of really super fresh ceviche for about $14.00 US, Neri's taco place where all the locals eat you can literally stuff yourself for less than $5US. Must go to the Truck Stop on the northern end of the island. Super cool place with three different food venues (Latin, Asian & home made ice cream). On Wednesday nights they have movie night outside under the stars (we saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail)Corn hole, horseshoes and firepit. And go to Mesa Cafe in town for coconut french toast, oh my. Deb Bennett the condo owner was great to work with and you will love Judy when she comes to see you. Could write pages and pages but this should at least give you some idea. Go, see, do and enjoy! Joni
