Great Exuma: Cottage Rentals (11)

Recent Great Exuma Reviews

Spotless, comfortable, great views, and Rosemary.

5 of 5
Where do I begin? I am convinced we picked the best place for 1-2 people to stay in Exuma. It was impeccably clean, very comfortable, and the view is breathtaking. As other reviewers have said, Rosemary is THE best. She is so kind and welcoming. She will give you a short tour of the island and recommend places. One thing we look for on warm weather vacations is a covered porch with comfortable furniture. With a great view, we want to spend time outside looking at it. So we look for furniture we can sink into rather than a hard chair. Rosemary's furniture fit the bill. Furthermore, the couch inside was comfortable and the bed was comfortable--no achy back like I sometimes get on vacation. The kitchen was well-equipped. Rosemary had cold beverages and ice cubes made, which were refreshing after a long day of travel. The view and Rosemary's amazing gardens were even better in person. The beach that is within walking distance is very nice, and we were the only ones using it when we were there. We rented a car for three days, so we could get groceries and explore other beaches. There are many things you can do without a car. Boat tours and car rentals will pick up and drop off at the cottage making it very convenient. We walked to the fish fry and if you're willing to walk a little further, there are some resorts with decent food, too. We also walked into town and took the water taxi to Stocking Island where we had the pig roast at Chat n' Chill. Overall, it was one of our most relaxing vacations ever! Thank you Rosemary for your wonderful hospitality and for the careful thought you put into your amazing cottage!

Beautiful luxury Villa, stunning beach and Best location on the island!

5 of 5
This luxurious property is paradise! More than enough room for 12 people including the stunning guest house. Amazing beach at your door step and 2 minutes walk to the Beach Club and marina. Evvie (property manager) is great and offers 10/10 service. We also used Sarah's services to have our groceries upon arrival and during our stay. She even went out of her way for cupcakes for one of the kid's birthday! This was our 3rd time at February Point and this property is by far our favourite dream home!!! We will be back soon!

Two weeks was too short.

Thank you John (and Sharon) for the lovely rental. Your house is the perfect size for the 4 of us. Just wonderful to be on the water, and wake up every morning to a beautiful peaceful sunrise, and feel at home, and not in a hotel. Perfect access to the bonefish flats out front, and plenty else to do as well. Kids enjoyed the swimming, and snorkeling and so on. We saw lots of fish just out front, and you are never alone on the flats. Lemon sharks, crabs, turtles, barracuda, spiny Atlantic lobster, and conch and of course the wily bonefish. The house had everything we needed, but not too much either. We especially liked the lack of hassles involved, and have rated it 5 stars, even though a few things didn't go as expected, but Hey Mon, that is island life. Relax and enjoy it! We sure did. Thanks again. We hope to come back.
