                        Recent Grand Bahama Island Reviews

                        Very relaxing.

                        5 of 5
My family and I had a great time on Freeport, the property was well kept and was very spacious, all the appliances were updated and it appeared as if the property was recently renovated. The owners were very responsive and the notes that Mrs. Ojeda left was very helpful. It felt like it was our home away from home, the beach was less than five minutes away and was empty, one reason was that the Xanadu hotel is currently closed, so it felt like a private beach, our four year old had a great time on the beach. I would definitely recommend this property. I do recommend renting a car so that you are able to explore the island don't be intimidated to drive it’s a very small island and for the first few days try to get back in before it gets dark because when it gets dark it gets dark and some street sings are not easily visible. I would also recommend if you are traveling with the family to pack some food stuff, like juice, canned items and things the kids may like because food is very expensive on the island and its worth the extra bag fee, also don’t forget to visit the fish market behind the abandon Chinese bazaar the lobsters are inexpensive and tasty.
