A Wonderful Place for a Ski Vacation!

5 of 5
We stayed at the Pinetop Bear Inn during Christmas/New Year's week and absolutely LOVED the place! First off, the owner is a sweetheart and truly cares about your stay and experience. She made sure everything at the house was in order prior to our stay, and also made sure that we did not have any questions about our stay before we arrived. She even helped return my son's wallet to him after he inadvertently left it in the couch cushion. :-) The house was immaculate when we arrived, which was even more amazing because there were guests in the house that morning. Everything you could possibly want was available in the house, from kitchen utensils and cookware, to bathroom necessities, towels, sheets, etc. I loved the small coffee maker in the master bathroom to get me started in the morning before the "main" coffee in the kitchen. We were able to cook a nice breakfast every morning before heading off to the slopes, and we spent every evening together in the "great" room, as it is the perfect place for families to gather. The house was decorated for the holidays too, which was a very nice touch, and the owner allowed us to park our vehicle in the garage, which helped with loading and unloading in the cold. It took us about 40 minutes to get to Sunrise Ski Resort every morning, which wasn't too bad considering we were in Pinetop. The house is located off the main street, maybe 2 minutes tops from Hwy 260. It is conveniently located near a gas station, as well as some of the best restaurants in town. Everything in the house worked great, including the heat, appliances, and the WiFi, although if you have 4 teenagers all on the WiFi together, it does tend to bog down, but that certainly isn't the fault of the internet connection. All in all, we felt that the Pinetop Bear Inn was the perfect place for our family ski vacation, and we will definitely be staying here again for our next Sunrise ski trip. I highly recommend this wonderful rental.

We loved it here!

This cabin is loved by the Adair's and it shows! In a quiet neighborhood but right in the heart of town. We went over New Years Eve when a lot of snow came, absolutely beautiful... The fireplace is definitely a huge bonus! My only advice is that if you do not have a 4WD to use Rim Road... :)
