We had most everything we needed and it all worked except, there was only a sink in the bathroom, with no space to set things like a waterpik, and an electric toothbrush, but we had seen their pictures and brought a folding table with us from Arizona. In need of TLC, The screen door needs replacing, the bathroom needed a pane of glass replaced, The bed had a spring that needed to be repaired/replaced and zinged my husband every time he got up. We did not tell them about it until we left so I don't know if it had been repaired or not. I had injured my knee and I needed help to get up the 4 stairs in the front as there was nothing to steady me as I climbed the stairs. The path leading to our gate had a few stepping stones that would rock and they were placed at random with a lot of empty ground in-between. it was very difficult to walk safely so we walked around the block to the back of the building to get into our studio apartment. There were two paths, one to the left, that led nowhere but had an excellent stone covered pathway and the one to the right that led to our gate that was in deep need of additional stones. I asked the owner to place more stones on our path, thinking they could take the stones on the left side and place them to our walk way. I was told they were working on it. However, in the month we were there, they did not, so we continued to walk around the block to our studio. But the location was private, in a nice, quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to the beach, grocery, liquor store, CVS and outdoor market. We really enjoyed our time there.
Michael and Lisa are wonderful hosts. Their cottage sits well off the main road, away from traffic noise. Clean and well furnished, the accommodations far surpassed my expectations. I have stayed in many homes across the country that owners advertised on VRBO. This easily ranks as one of my favorites.
