Number 1 host plus true Tuscany view, Roberta’s Agritourismo Casa Rossa exceeds my expectation. What described in the internet is all true. Also worth to mention is the location is easy access to highway which adds convenience exploring this region. Highly recommend it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is more rustic than it lets on in the pictures, and down a long gravel road, but the view and hospitality more than make up for it. We never met Lucia, and both her parents spoke no English, so the check in process was a bit confusing. Lucia also wanted us to send a picture of our passports to her over another app, but I think the HomeAway app's poor messaging system is to blame for that. I would recommend staying here, just be sure you know what your getting into. It is a working farm, and some of the emenities are sparce (no microwave, only a small toaster oven, no modern coffee maker), but it also has a real coziness about it. The view over the valley is spectacular, and the quietness and peace is contagious. It's not a hotel, and it doesn't pretend to be one. But I feel it is a great value for your money in Val d'Orcia.
