This would have been given 5 stars if not for a couple of things. The Wi-Fi was terrible, we were unable to connect on any device. The router is located behind the television and that may be part of the problem, we rebooted a number of times with no success. Ended up using my phone as a hotspot for my computer so I could get some work done.
The cable box was velcroed to the back of the television and fell off about twice a day.
Did have an issue with the door lock for the sliding door to the patio. Called the Stay Alfred number and they offered to relocate us since nobody could get there that night but we said it could wait and it was fixed the next morning.
Except for the Wi-Fi and the annoyance of the cable box, this was a really nice stay. The building has a decent pool, outdoor grills and a very nice clubhouse with pool and shuffleboard. Good restaurants are within walking distance.
We loved this property, the view and amenities were amazing. We had a few hiccups which is why we gave it a 4 star.
1. Two dining chairs and 1 bar stool had broken legs (but I reported it to management to make them aware -- they asked for pictures but no one ever came to see them)
2. For such a great kitchen, there were limited utensils. No spatula, no baking pan.
3. This is probably the biggest issue we had. The apartment had a pool party on Sunday. There were posters everywhere. And a resident invited us too. Anyway, on the day of the event, we were told by the "pool police" that we were not allowed to eat the burgers or drink the drinks unless we are residents. It was quite embarrassing. Yet, we were allowed to swim in the pool. No where on the signage did it say "residents" only. For the amount of money we paid for 5 nights, I think they could've spared some burgers and drinks.
