  • Stay at Elliston Place Apts.

Our recent 3 night stay was just okay. We found the apt. to be very dark and had to have the lights on most of the time. A lot of construction going on in the area so it was quite noisey during the day. The most awful thing we had to deal with was the uncomfortable bed. I requested two mattress toppers but that didn't help. I actually had to sleep on the couch (I didn't pull it out because the mattress was too thin) and my husband slept in the bed and hardly got any sleep for the 3 nights we were there. You could also hear dogs barking in the hallway and people talking. I think the apt. bldg. has some maintenance issues as well. The hallway had a smell and was in much need of either carpet replacement or cleaning. The main entranceway was disgusting. It appeared someone got sick and threw up and you could hardly walk by the disgusting sight. On the positive side, everyone at Domingo customer service had been extremely nice to deal with.

  • Clean conveniently located condo

We stayed over an extended holiday weekend primarily for a concert but also to explore downtown Nashville and the condo was a great fit for our trip. It was just two of us, and I wouldn’t put any more people in the condo as it’s very small and the bathroom is off the bedroom. The condo is on the third floor and was clean and had everything we needed. Being on the river made for a pretty view but we didn’t use the balcony because it was very buggy and the balcony was covered in webs and bugs which was disappointing but even if the owners cleaned it of the webs before every stay, I have a feeling the bugs would have prevented us from going out anyway, which is no fault of theirs. The unit was very convenient to get to Broadway, Germantown, Nissan Stadium for the concert and the Bicentennial park and farmers market. We used scooters to get around so only have to take the car out once. The owners were responsive to our emails and provided many suggestions for places to eat and things to see. Overall, we would recommend this condo for a couple looking for a convenient location to explore without having to be in the middle of downtown.
