Pictures don't lie:). The view from the hill is 10/10. The central of Lucignano is around 10 minutes walk from the house, but this is also a good place to stay, if you want to visit bigger towns, but you want to avoid tourists and crowd.
The house was a bit cold, because the weather wasn't best outside, but during summer it can be a very good choise:). They also have a fireplace, so you can make the place more cozier during rainy days. Special thanks for everything to the lovely Sonia:). I hope some day we'll come back."
This location is very spacious, clean and recently renovated to make the most of this property’s 360 degrees of views to the surrounding Tuscan hills. Accommodations comfortably slept six adults with 3 full bathrooms and spacious kitchen. The grounds were gorgeous and we even had enough sunshine to enjoy lounging by the pool for an evening aperitif. My only criticism of this accommodation is that the lighting was very poor and made worse by led bulbs. This is not a very serious issue, but would interfere with the needs of someone who was visually impaired. The wifi was also very poor, but perhaps to be expected when you’re in a beautiful stone villa in a remote hillside town. Again easy enough to work around. Our host was very responsive and eager to meet our needs, though if you’re planning on staying for any duration you should be aware that you’re on your own for all basic consumables including hand and dish soap. This could be an issue for travelers coming by air and arriving in the evening since there is no easy way to stock up with the closest market a 20 min drive. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location to anyone looking to be at the heart of Tuscany.
