  • Convenient, fully-equipped; perfect for active or lazy visits

5-min walk from the ferry, two decent island supermarkets barely farther than that. The view out the full-width patio window: WOW. This alone is worth it. Internet worked great throughout. Pretty much everything inside the unit is new. Jaume was the perfect host, we stayed in touch via chat throughout the week after briefly meeting upon arrival. Even shared special-interest tips, as we hit most of the main sights during our stay. I want to go back soon!

  • Modernized rustic beach house built for Formentera's easy-going, outdoor lifestyle

Booking the property was relatively easy despite the hosts and us not sharing same primary language. Both parties used translation tools. Arriving at the marina, we called the hosts for a car ride over to the property. They came very quickly to pick us up. It was helpful to have a brief tour of where the different towns, supermarkets, and restaurants were while en route to the property. The location is fantastically-situated, a short walk to the beaches of Migjorn, down an unpaved dirt road. It is sublimely quiet. There are neighboring houses to the right and left, but not front or back (open fields). Everything was very clean and functioned properly. If you plan to cook, you will need to purchase basic staples such as oil, vinegar, pepper, salt. Nearby there is 1 snack shop (at the end of the dirt road part of the "Bungalows Es Pins") and 1 small dry grocery shop (on the next road down in the direction of the beach). To get around the island we rented bikes for the whole stay and then rented scooters for 24 hours. There are designated bike lanes on the main road and marked tourist paths for visiting the islands various points of interest. Renting the scooters allowed us to cover more area and get some stellar vantage points of the island while on our way to El Pilar de la Mola village and lighthouse. The only tricky part of having the bicycles was riding them down the unpaved dirt road to the property because it is very rocky and we wanted to avoid popping our tires. The beaches on this side of the island were more to our liking because they were long-stretching and spacious, never feeling like you had to pile on top of fellow beach goers. There are also numerous restaurant-bars along this strip making getting lunch or a drink accessible. We would absolutely visit the property again. It was very charming, peaceful and safe.
