We appreciated the peaceful and relaxed setting of the cove on the lake. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks, the pit for campfires, s'mores and mountain pies, as well as the deck with a nice outdoor table, umbrella, and chairs along with the gas grill for an outdoor meal. The house inside was pleasant, cozy and inviting. We found the furniture and beds, and dining furniture quite comfortable and the air conditioning (the master bedroom window unit as well as the central air in the whole house) and ceiling fans kept us cool (there were also two extra fans in the closets available for use). The master bedroom was lovely and the king bed was really comfortable! The house was clean and up-to-date and in good condition. There was plenty of drawer and closet space for your belongings. The kitchen was quite nice and easy to use, with the full frig, full gas stove and range, the microwave, the toaster, and the coffee maker. There was a large collection of DVDs to watch on the large screen TV. We had fun taking the dirt road to the house, it was tucked away in the woods, which is what we wanted. On one side of the house there is a large, peaceful marsh, and on the other side there are a few homes on the lake, tucked away in the woods as well. The neighbors were quiet and we hardly knew anyone else was near-by. We appreciated very much our peaceful vacation experience here and will enjoy a return visit in the future. Thank you!
