The bungalow was perfect in so many ways. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were so comfortable and the living areas were comfortable. Above all we enjoyed sitting on the porch whether to read, talk or eat out meals.
We stayed at Kristine's home as we celebrated our 40th anniversary. It's a great property in a terrific location not far from central downtown Ptown. We didn't walk to town, but we probably could have. The property is across the street from the water on Commercial St. in the back of a four-unit residence. A reserved parking spot in the back is a little tricky to find the first time, but really convenient.
The home is beautiful; a truly comfortable space for a one-bedroom (which is upstairs with a bathroom). Downstairs includes a nicely arranged bath with large shower and a great room including a terrific little, well-designed kitchen and an open sitting area. It's cozy elegant. Bonus: sweet patio area with garden where we enjoyed a couple of takeout meals and wine.
Next door is Suzanne's Garden, a beautiful public space that is perfect to wake up to if you sleep on the right side of the bed.
Kristine is an awesome host, responding promptly and providing all the information we needed. Check-in was a breeze. She was good about checking in with us while we were there and offered some excellent recommendations for restaurants and shopping. There's a great market (East End) a short walk from the house.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we'd go back in a minute.
