Location, location, location. This property is in the heart of it all, just blocks from the water and the train and the castle and all the best Lisbon has to offer. Located on a quiet street, you are footsteps away from history, fun and excitement outside the front door. The team - Martin, Paulo and their staff- not only communicate well PRIOR to the stay, but the check-in process was thorough and incredibly informative about the city. Paulo gave great recommendations for local dining, sites not to miss, and ways to save money getting about town. My husband and I were travelling with our 2 sons, age 18 and 21. The space was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to make breakfasts/dinners so there was no need to buy basics like soap, salt, olive oil, etc. The washer/dryer was a new but small- an all-in-one machine. Note that the drying functionality isn't what we are used to in the US, so rack drying was a necessity. My only negative notes- the mattresses were VERY firm- almost no cushion. After a long day of walking and touring, don't expect to sink into the luxurious comfort of a soft bed. And if you are in a first floor unit and the renters upstairs have kids, you WILL hear them. A lot. That said, the place was so lovely and the service so conscientious that it makes up for it! HIGHLY recommend and we could return here without question.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The apartment was super tidy and the communication with the owner was effortless. Parking in the street was never a problem and the location near the wine cellar district overlooking the Duero River was beautiful. We would definitely repeat this apartment. The range of the Wifi network does not reach the entire apartment, but that was not a major problem for us.
Thank you for a pleasant stay.
