We were a group of seven, 5 adults and 2kids. The property is on 6 hectares, almost at the end of the village , very secluded. The owner (super friendly and attentive) welcome and guide us from the start to the end of our stay. . The property is gorgeous, the house is big, love the washer and dryer. The kids had a blast . Love to come back .
The house is in a small village conveniently situated between the coast, where there is a good choice of clean beaches within 30 minutes driving, and Dinan, a fortified medieval town boasting many very old half-timbered houses and battlements giving good views over the surrounding landscape; a steep cobbled street lined with the workshops of artisans leads to a riverside port. Within a 45 minutes drive are several interesting towns offering a variety of activities and, of course, Mont St Michel which is well worth a visit.
The house was clean and had all the cooking and cleaning items with the exception of a long-handled broom, bread crumbs do tend to spread at mealtimes! There is plenty of room for five people as long as privacy is not too much of an issue. There is generous on-site parking and the enclosed garden is ideal for young children to play safely.
The village has a small shop that stocks essentials but the nearest supermarket is about five miles away, however, with a bit of planning supermarket shopping can be incorporated into the day trips.
