We visited 3 nights Beginning of May 2019 as end of our USA Canada TRIP before going back to France.
The view on the lake is great, lighting a fire in the morning with all the birds & life in front of us is priceless.
Around the region is full of lakes, really unique.
We went back to Montreal via the Algonquin Park that is on the way route 60.
Even if it was a little cold we did some Canoe on the lake & explored the islands, the kids loved it.
House is well equipped including with laudry & dryer / usefull when you were traveling before
I highly recommend ! We should have stayed longer !
-Do not use the GPS indication it is going to the wrong place but follow the renter’s instructions
-Better to buy water & food at Parry Sounds on the way in as there is not much in the towns around
This cabin has exceeded my expectations! It’s right beside the river and the property is huge. Carine is a wonderful host and gave lots of privacy. We had camp fires, walks on the trails and got to see the waterfall which is just a short drive down the road. The cabin does not have running water and the stove is the only source of heat, just like Carine’s post says, but it was perfectly manageable. If you’re looking to visit this beautiful cabin, make sure you bring lots of clean water. I’d recommend this cabin to those who have camping experience and good fire building skills! :) - Thank you Carine!
