The staff was cordial and prompt, orienting us to the property and the area. The property is a stand-alone structure in a courtyard, surrounded by multi-family units. Though there is not much of a view there is something much more important: quiet right in the middle of a city. Re: the view, no worries. Just right across the street is a magnificent cathedral and an old-city neighborhood marvelously preserved. There is a first-rate pastry shop across the street, several excellent restaurants within a block of the front door, and access to more tourist-oriented shopping an easy walk away. Hint: the food is much better and less expensive on this street vs. the tourist areas, and the service is top rate, not infuriating. The unit is well appointed: beds and bedding are appropriate, as are bathrooms. The layout (four floors) is nice for multi-couple groups...and there actually is a nice view and lots of natural light on the two upper floors, along with a usable balcony. The Danish word for stairway is the same word for "ladder". Heavy international baggage up and down the stairs substitutes well for the lack of gym facilities. Still very doable for a fit 60-something like myself. We came for our daughter's wedding to a former Danish Member of Parliament, which brought in a number of international guests scattered through the district in various nice hotels and other upscale rental units. By consensus, this was people's choice for best property. High marks for Mr. Keller and the other staff who made our stay so seamless and enjoyable.
