We spent a wonderful three days in this downtown Halifax apartment. It is impeccably clean and looks just like the images. The location is within very easy walking distance of the Halifax Farmer's Market and a large grocery store. Within ten minutes walking you can be at all the bars and restaurants on the harbor. There is parking in the building ($12/day additional) which was very helpful, too. Oh, and there is laundry in the unit, which was amazing.
The one thing keeping me from a five-star rating is that the apartment is prettier than it is practical. Little tiny things like a lack of end tables or a coffee table... so there was no where to put down a cup while you are relaxing. Also, the bed is comfy, but the pillows are strange and not great for the neck (obviously, this could be personal preference, only). The kitchen was stocked for everyday use, but it's not quite outfitted for deep cooking (no measuring vessels; limited pots and pans, etc.). All little things, but we did notice them.
Andres was responsive and helpful. It would have been great to have a little info sheet about the apartment (where to put garbage; how to use the A/C...), but with a little common sense we figured it all out.
Overall, a GREAT place. We enjoyed it immensely.
