Elodie lives upstairs and met us to let us in to the lower level apartment. She is very friendly and welcoming.
The apartment is bright in the kitchen and bedroom because of big bright windows. They open up to let in the fresh air. There are no screens on the windows so if you plan to leave the windows open during the night to keep the apartment cool you will let bugs in.
We were very busy while staying here so we didn't have much of a chance to cook. There is a small fridge and just a hot plate and micorwave for cooking. The ceiling and entrance door are very short. I am 1.5 m and my head is just slightly lower then the ceiling. The ceiling is even lower just outside of the bathroom. If you are a tall person this may be a concern.
The bed is comfortable and there is a fold out couch that would be comfortable for one.
We arrived by train to this location and it is a little sketchy around the station. Elodie's street seemed nice. It was very quiet. This apartment is far away from everything and until we picked up our rental car there was nothing that you could walk to for restaurants and stores.
Overall a very positive experience. It is a rather small room, but my wife and were there for the Roland Garros mainly, so it was no issue for us. The property was superclean and the location had a very good connection to the center of downtown. Also a very beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood just to walk and browse surroundings. And last but not least, the host Françoise was really sweet and helpful with everything. Will definetly recommend this place.
