Our studio in Rennes, rented from Eric Bescond, was an inspired choice for our six nights in the town. We chose it because of the abundance of windows & natural light and the positive reviews. Its location in the centre of the historic area was a wonderful experience. We were able to walk everywhere. We also rented bicycles and enjoyed the countryside. The studio was clean and afforded almost everything one could want. (The only addition I might suggest would be a full length mirror.) It was well supplied with cooking basics, including paper towels, tin foil, sugar, salt and other spices, olive oil, vinegar and laundry detergent. The kitchen equipment, pots, toaster, dishes, etc. was good. The TV was a good size, and there were also books and CD’s to keep one amused. The bathroom had good counter space for toiletries and there was plenty of hot water. The 54 stairs were not a problem. Eric was personable and helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful time in Rennes. We definitely recommend one of Eric’s three properties!
My daughter loved having her own space up in the loft, and I loved having my own bedroom. Being on a calm pedestrian street was wonderful, and still sooo close to everything! The kitchen was well equipped with even basic cooking ingredients and spices! Listening to the church bells and the coos of pigeons and doves was a delight! We didn't have time to enjoy the projector and screen, but I would love to stay again for a longer amount of time and do so. We both thoroughly enjoyed the charm of the dwelling, but if you are in any way mobility impaired the stairs will be problematic.
