We stayed here w 9 people in 3 generations of family. Having two houses was just great, with plenty of room, dishes, glasses - and two dishwashers!!
The space is as shown on website tho master bedrooms are larger than we expected.
It was extremely hot when we were there so we religiously closed up during the day and then opened in evening and night. Pretty hot in 40+C heat but between the pool, canoeing in the Dordogne (and we were in it most of the day) and visiting cool caves we had a blast. We didn't get to use the pizza oven due to the heat but it looks great.
Louise is an excellent host - willing to lend us a cooler for our river trips (we highly recommend Roqueoffre canoeing as they take you up river and then you end up back where u started so no waiting for a shuttle bus) and a blow up for the pool (we donated some more for the next visitors).
If u are Americans you may be surprised by there being no real supplies(e.g., soap in bathrooms, herbs in kitchen (tho there r fresh herbs in window box!), aluminum foil, etc. so be prepared like the Brits are.
We would not hesitate to stay here again. Do get the gps coordinates from Louise as it is a bit hard to find. And directions to the country boulangerie where we picked up fresh croissants and baguettes each morning (we preordered for the next day as we needed so many).
It's the best. Go! Enjoy!
