This was our fifth annual “Michigan Summer Adventure” with adult children, and, like us, potential guests with growing families and/or pets will appreciate all this home has to offer. First, it has plenty of room, and you don’t have to put your twenty-something kids in bunk beds. We had lots of space for seven adults and one new grandchild. Second, pets are considered, and we were very grateful to have the opportunity to bring along pets, and enjoy vacation with them. Third, the amenities you would expect in a home of this size are there. We brought along our own beach gear, so didn’t rely on these items being around. But everything else in the way of cooking, grilling, dining, and washing was available, no problem. Fourth, the yard is good sized (but no fence for your pet, so don’t expect that) and the neighborhood is gorgeous with tall trees and lush vegetation. During our years out on the Great Plains, we learned that prairie people may feel a little claustrophobic in woods, and not appreciate moss on the ground or tree pollen on their cars. But Michigan natives that we are, we loved it. For me, Waukazoo Woods has the feel of a forested campground in which everyone traded in their tents for a new house. Thanks, Linda, for letting us stay in your place.
We had a great 3 night stay here. The grill, garage, yard, smart tv, washer and dryer were all highly appreciated and utilized. I didn’t have to worry that we were going to disturb anyone with our less than quiet small children. Everything was a short drive away - the kids loved tunnel park, Holland state park, pirates cove mini golf & the dutch village. The weather was disappointing so I was grateful to be near so many other activities that weren’t beach-dependent. As long as you are happy to drive for 10 minutes in every direction, you’ll have a great stay! Thanks again.
