I was spending a couple of days in Stratford-Upon-Avon and wanted something within walking distance of the Shakespeare centre of town, but not anywhere noisy.
Judy's flat was perfect for what I needed. I was traveling alone, so didn't need much space, but ended up with a lovely flat with plenty of places to sit and relax. The flat is bright, on the top floor of a three storey walk-up. There's a washer/dryer (another must for me at this point in my travels), with the instructions right above it.
Judy met me at the flat, showed me where to park and walked me through the check-in and the buidling. Even if she hadn't been available, the pdf of how to get to and into the flat was spot-on and very handy for someone on their own.
The bed was comfortable, the black-out blinds amazing, and there were several types of pillows to choose from. The shower was strong and warm (it went hot, but I don't tend to take overly hot showers these days).
The area was quiet and I, a woman in my 40s, felt quite safe walking back alone from dinner as dusk turned to night at the end of a day late May.
We had a lovely stay at the old coach house in Kineton. The cottage was so warm and cosy all week. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in and the lounge had loads of light and looked towards the garden gate that led to the traditional garden of the owners house that we enjoyed strolling in. Julien the owner was easy to contact and extremely helpful. The only problem was the reception for WiFi which is in the process of being fixed. We would definitely stay here again if revisiting the cotswolds
