Our family of 4 (including two teens) absolutely loved staying in Valerie and Bruno’s lovely country home. The setting and location were perfect for us, as we could easily drive into Cher for the bakery, or over to Amboise for meals, shopping, groceries. We toured the castles and quaint towns all day every day and came home to relax with a glass of wine outside and ate dinner under the grape arbor. Everything in this newly renovated farmhouse is absolutely pristine and immaculately clean (something I appreciate as a neat freak myself) and Valerie and Bruno have thought of every single detail to make their guests comfortable! They were also very accessible as they live very nearby and responded to questions immediately. Highlights: Chenonceau, Chambord, the Sunday market in Amboise, date night dinner at the fabulous (yet oddly inexpensive) Michelin Star restaurant La Boulaye (they accommodated me as a vegetarian and gave me the best meal I’ve enjoyed in years). We could have happily stayed a whole week here. Thank you Valerie and Bruno for your kindness and hospitality!
