Charming, tiny cottage which opens onto a nice garden. Comfortable beds, but one must be agile enough to climb a ladder to get to double bed chamber. Be prepared to go grocery shopping (a Carrefour is nearby) if you want to cook as only salt and pepper are provided. We enjoyed our stay!
We loved this house! It was close to Bruges, yet far away enough not to be expensive - a 15 minute drive!
Although my husband cannot climb the narrow windy stairs we are often encountering on our journey, Els was kind enough to put a cot downstairs in the study which had a lovely view of the expansive backyard.
The bedrooms are all upstairs and two toilets and shower and tub downstairs.
The kitchen was well stocked and much appreciated.
The owner was very reachable and even came to show me how to work the stove!
Did I mention the lovely house?! It was very peaceful to be able to sit outside away from the bustle of the city.
The house instructions were in English which was a big help.
We were glad to be able to experience an older house with updated facilities. Although we were 2 couples, more could have stayed with us easily.
The place was very clean.
Don’t miss out on experiencing this place for yourself!
