We had a small family reunion and stayed in various cabins at Stonebridge Resort. We really enjoyed the screened in porch in the evening. The beds were all king size and very comfortable. Loved that each bedroom had its own large bathroom with shower. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and pans, ets to cook our meals. Would stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Moose. The home slept our family of 21 quite well. We did have one major problem and that was the brown crickets that were quite plentiful. We killed at least 40 of them on the lower level in suitcases, in carpet, etc.
When you said earlier that the walk to the pool was uphill you weren't kidding. It's more than uphill. We enjoyed the pool and the young at heart weren't bothered too much by the walk. Our lodge was on a hill so parking brakes were always used.
We really appreciated that the lodge had two big tables so all 21 of us could sit around the table and eat at one time. The seven king beds were great and the bathroom in each bedroom was super. The washing machine and dryer on the main level and the lower level was also much appreciated. The dishwasher was great but as I told you after we got there, one of the racks comes off the track quite often. The two refrigerators were great and worked well except for the ice in the door. We made our own ice with an ice machine we had. We were a little short of silverware at first but more were brought to us right away. We do think you could replace some of the breakable and chipped plates with some unbreakable dinnerware.
One thing that we thought was a little strange is that the living area had a couch that held 3-4 and two easy chairs for a lodge that slept 24. It wasn't enough for 12 adults to sit around and visit.
We again thank you for the use of the lodge and your good service and communication. We had a great time in the Ozarks.
