I do recommend this accommodation . Although the room is in the basement, it doesn't feel like a basement. It can be a bit chilly , but there are lots of blankets. Unless things change, don't expect much in the way of kitchen type facilities. There is a little fridge and a little microwave and a kettle. The area felt very safe, but I'm not sure how convenient it is for public transportation. We rented a car and parking was a breeze. Laura is a friendly host who responds quickly to emails.
The apartment has been updated with great windows and light coming into the living room. It is in a wonderful neighborhood near shops and restaurants. And, it's walking distance to the Washington University Medical Campus. The area is quiet with the building at the end of a cul-de-sac. I've already booked the property again for next month.
