We loved the house and Diana was great. She helped us with some places to eat that are more for locals and where to shop for things. The gardener was great as there were some issues with seaweed that week. He had the beach cleaned every morning by 9AM. Air Conditioning worked great and kept the bedrooms at a very comfortable temp. Kitchen has most everything you really need for a 1 week stay. This is more of a typical Caribbean property and not a new build or condo style property. Some of the things are getting a little older but overall we really loved the place. I would definitely consider staying here if I traveled to Barbados again. Snorkeling in front of the property was even decent. Boat or Jetski could be rented very close by. The vendors came by every morning but were not too pushy like in some places. Beach area is perfect size for our family of 4. It feels like a very private beach as well and is not busy at all. A little bit of action but not too much. Construction noise next door is really the only drawback at this time.
Location on the island is good if you are OK with not being in the heart of the city. We really liked the location and only went to Bridgetown 2 nights for dinner. Holetown has some fantastic restaurants only 10 minutes away and Speightown also had a few great places to eat as well. Grocery stores are pretty close and the parking on site at the house is great. A little tough to find the first day when we arrived but not too difficult. Google maps worked great on the island so we should have used that the first day. We arrived during the daytime which really helped. Overall I would recommend!
Great vacation, beautiful view. The only thing I would say that wasn’t perfect was that there isn’t any a/c on the main floor, which I wasn’t expecting other than that the place was great.
