This is strictly a 3 bedroom property (2 people/bed). It says more can sleep here on the sofa. While that is true, there are 3 rooms with 3 beds. The size of each bed can sleep more than 6 (couple with smaller children) but if you truly have 7 adults, someone will have to snuggle up with a couple unless the 7th person doesn't mind sleeping outside of an air condition room. Open-air room, no net. no windows to close, it's out in the open.
Home Away advertised this property for 6+ people. Technically it's true, one can actually cram more people into this property. I could even see 3 adults on each king-size bed with two other sofas sleeping another 2-4 people pending on size and willingness to snuggle together. But...for people who want their spaces and comfort, 6 is the maximum for proper comfort. Groups can add more people into this villa but beware if your comfort is compromised.
Second, there's really no need for in house cooking when there's a restaurant a stone throw away for a $1-2 cheaper/person.
Third, if you require a lot of electronics to be charged, there is limited plugs. Plus, the existing plugs in the main living room is extremely limited...like only one...next to the TV.
The pool is beautiful but it's not heated....at least, we couldn't find the heater.
Manager is nice and helpful. You'll need to give him time for your check out so if you're in a rush, allow him 15 mins. before you need to go.
Bed is firm. If you like soft beds, this isn't the place. Then again, outside of a Marriott resort, most of the beds I've experienced in this country and other Asian countries, like firm beds. That being said, I slept like a baby.
The pictures that display this property doesn't give this place enough beauty. It's really a beautiful property. The whole thing oozes cuteness.
I did have issues with pillows. They only had one extra pillow. So if you really stacked this place past 7 people, BYOP (bring your own pillow) Seriously, this property should have way more extra pillows than 1.
Would I return to this villa again? Yes! In spite of all this, I would return to this place. Some of these issues are manageable. We stayed for 2 nights. Did our outings within this area then moved to Ubud.
Hope my review reflected a true and honest review of the good and bad of this villa. I also hope the owners read this review and make the necessary changes since I really think this place is a gem, just needs tweaking!
Villa Bunny is an excellent place to stay in Seminyak.
The hosts Tila and Robert are very helpful and accommodate all requests like extra bedding and second sets of keys with no problems.
The housekeeper Adi is wonderfully friendly and helpful and a very good breakfast cook.
The villa itself has an excellent pool, very roomy bedrooms and very good WiFi.
It would be good if the air conditioning was a little quieter however the spaciousness of the villa, the beautiful gardens, pool and cabana and the location near to Shelter, The Koop and the main Seminyak shopping strip make for a wonderful holiday.
All the trendy Seminyak restaurants and clubs are only a short taxi ride or walk away and the local massages are very good.
Villa Bunny is highly recommended and the space, peace and privacy compared to a resort are very, very good. It is also excellent value for money.
Adi’s friendly welcome and great service is a delight.
You will have a wonderful holiday at Villa Bunny!
