Unfortunately we were only here for one night. We decided to end our trip close to Stonehenge and this location and cottage met more than our expectation. The cottage is on a beautiful road about 10 minute drive to Stonehenge. When we walked in soft music was playing and there was freshly baked bread as well as food in the refrigerator for us to make breakfast. The bathroom was amazing and right across the street is a brewery that started in 1775. The owner met us at the cottage to show us the place and had painted beautiful pictures that hung on the wall. Thank you very much for the hospitality. I highly recommend this location.
We spent 10 days in England splitting our time between day trips to London and trips to the countryside. This was the perfect location. The train station was a short walk away followed by a 50 minute ride to London. Bath, Winchester, Bournemouth, and Stonehenge were 60-90 mins away by car. Oxford was 60 mins away by direct train. Our family of 4 also enjoyed all the space to spread out in the property. The kids had their own comfortable rooms, allowing us adults plenty of peace and quiet to unwind after long days. Or to watch the World Cup on TV undisturbed.
