I do recommend this accommodation . Although the room is in the basement, it doesn't feel like a basement. It can be a bit chilly , but there are lots of blankets. Unless things change, don't expect much in the way of kitchen type facilities. There is a little fridge and a little microwave and a kettle. The area felt very safe, but I'm not sure how convenient it is for public transportation. We rented a car and parking was a breeze. Laura is a friendly host who responds quickly to emails.
This was first time renting a house. I am so glad that i did. This was great. This house was like our home away from home. Very nice house in a very quiet area. Everything was great from communication with the owners to having everything we needed for the week. The owners will do anything they can to give you a great stay. This place is close enough to visit all the great st . louis stuff, which allot are free, and just far enough away to be out of the big city. From the Zoo to the Arch to the Art Museum, Casinos and so much more to do. Then right across the river St. Charles is a great old city to visit with all kinds of shops to check out. Oh and you got to try out some St. Louis favorites like the gooey butter cake..... its great!!!! and Ted Drews ice cream!!! This is the place to rent for a family, 2 floors and allot of room to talk or cook dinner or just hang out on the back porch. Great Place!!!!
