  • Wow! What a nice experience.

We stayed in this home for five nights while sightseeing along the Pink Granite Coast (PGC). It's convenient: reasonably close to Perros-Guirec and the start of one of the nicest parts of the PGC trail, the walk to Ploumanach. (But the less well known section west of Ploumanach is awesome too.) Thirty minutes away is Roscoff and the ferry to Ile de Batz. We had a wonderful day there. BTW, Ploumanach is one of the departure points for the boat trip to the Sept Iles. What an awesome trip that was! We saw a few puffins still hanging around in July and thousands of gannets. Veronique's "B&B" is like a little cottage attached to her home. Very private, it has a kitchenette area, a small dining area and a good sized bedroom. All of this is decorated in warm provencal colors. The suite is next to a grain field and off in the distance, one can see the ocean. Breakfast each morning was a surprise and a delight. Veronique sort of sneaked into the kitchenette area early in the morning and laid out an array of pastries, fruit, cereal, juice, croissants and so on. We're still raving about some of the Bretagne delicacies she served! Most evenings we came back to the cottage with picnic fare for dinner. The property provided a perfect place to end the day with a baguette, ham, cheese, sardines and a bottle of Muscadet. One evening, Veronique came out with a tin of pate and a hearty "Bon appetite!" Life was good! We highly recommend this property.
