  • An interesting and attracttive part of France

The house is in a small village conveniently situated between the coast, where there is a good choice of clean beaches within 30 minutes driving, and Dinan, a fortified medieval town boasting many very old half-timbered houses and battlements giving good views over the surrounding landscape; a steep cobbled street lined with the workshops of artisans leads to a riverside port. Within a 45 minutes drive are several interesting towns offering a variety of activities and, of course, Mont St Michel which is well worth a visit. The house was clean and had all the cooking and cleaning items with the exception of a long-handled broom, bread crumbs do tend to spread at mealtimes! There is plenty of room for five people as long as privacy is not too much of an issue. There is generous on-site parking and the enclosed garden is ideal for young children to play safely. The village has a small shop that stocks essentials but the nearest supermarket is about five miles away, however, with a bit of planning supermarket shopping can be incorporated into the day trips. • Lovely Cottage in Brittany

We really loved this cottage and the generous garden. It is a great spot to see Brittany and explore, towns, the countryside and the fabulous beaches. It is a one-off property, very secluded, rural and ticked all our boxes. Marc was very helpful too and acquired a high chair and cot for our little son.
