This is a lovely airy, clean, bright fourth-floor apartment with two large bedrooms, a large entrance foyer, and an all-purpose kitchen/dining/living room. The ceilings are high, the floors are either tile or parquet—both are attractive. The recently renovated bathroom is attractively tiled, well equipped with a new washing machine and a well designed shower stall. The kitchen also has new appliances and all the basic kitchen equipment one could desire. The host, Alessandro, thoughtfully provides an array of packaged breakfast items to start the visit off. The building’s elevator is larger than many we have encountered (in over twenty VRBO rentals in Europe), so you and all your luggage will fit into it; it is faster than most as well.
There’s a grocery store a couple of blocks away, and numerous restaurants of various levels and types within a short walk. Similarly Turin's prime tourist attractions—the Palace complex, the Mole Antonelliana, the Egyptian Museum, the pedestrian precinct of Via Garibaldi, etc.—are all within easy walking distance. It’s a very good location and a pleasant place to stay.
Beautiful home in Tonco! We had an amazing two weeks in Piedmont staying in this great house. The view was breathtaking and although we couldn’t see the Alps everyday, when we did it was very special. We are in Tuscany as I write this and it is very beautiful but, we miss Piedmont and our gorgeous home. Thank you Luis!!
