From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and very relaxed in this stylish and well appointed property. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner and made to feel so welcome. We were close to all amenities, including the airport, beautiful beaches, supermarkets, great tavernas. It is the best holiday accomodation we have ever had! We would highly recommend it.
I cannot say enough as to how happy my wife and I, along with two other couples, were regarding our stay in at this villa in Montescudo. The location was great, about 20 minutes from San Marino and a relatively easy drive to the seaport towns along the Adriatic coast. The setting was beautiful offering a magnificent view of the valley below. And the town of Montescudo, while not somewhere we would normally visit, was very quaint and offered four local restaurants (at least that’s how many we visited) where the ambiance was wonderful, the food was delicious, the service was excellent and the prices were inexpensive. We ate and drank like royalty at peasant prices. As to the villa itself, it was very clean and modern offering four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, spacious living and dining rooms as well as a wonderful kitchen with modern appliances, utensils, etc. There was wi-fi throughout the house and the only problem we had was with the TV. It seemed a thunderstorm prior to our arrival knocked out the satellite settings and we had to have the manager come and reset them. Plusses include not having to leave a security deposit; there was no additional charge for electricity for the AC; and while we did have to supply our own groceries and staples, the villa was stocked with enough to get us started (such as coffee, paper napkins, paper towels, etc.). This was in a stark contrast to a villa we had rented in Tuscany where we were ambushed with an extra fee for the AC and the only thing they started us with was toilet paper! I heartily recommend this villa for anyone visiting San Marino and the surrounding area!
