  • Excellent Villa with stunning views
    5 of 5

You won't be disappointed choosing this lovely villa. Located in the most beautiful position we have ever seen. The outside space was really well thought out and designed and the furniture was extremely comfortable. The pool is a very good size with plenty of space around it for sunbathing. The food in this part of Spain is truly fantastic. The owners couldn't have been more helpful. Can't wait to come back again!!

  • Perfection! Peace and Quiet, close to Barcelona.
    5 of 5

We like to be close enough to the action yet far enough away to unwind in peace and quiet. Perched in the hills above Cunit, this villa was perfect for us. The panoramic views of the neighborhood and the sea from the huge decks and several balconies (one off of every bedroom) were spectacular. No freeway noise, just a soothing sea breeze. July is hot so the central air conditioning was helpful when the breeze calmed. The villa is only one year old and perfectly clean and modern. The great room and kitchen are on the ground floor; all four bedrooms and washing machine are on the floor below. The owners could not have been nicer. We met them at the Cunit train station after the easy drive from the Barcelona airport. We followed them to the villa and they gave us a tour of the villa and showed us the surrounding attractions on a map. They are very honest and honorable people. The owner worked in the contruction industry for years and used his knowledge and skills while building this house. The quality is perfection! We loved the floor to ceiling tiles in every bathroom with beautiful inlay-ed mirrors. The flooring and counter tops throughout the house are natural stone and beautiful. Having a car is essential if you are going to stay at this villa, but I would not want to drive in the traffic to Barcelona. Taking the train to Barcelona is very easy. The train station is about a 10 minute drive into Cunit. Cunit to Barcelona by train is about a 50 minute train trip. Just don’t miss the last train back to Cunit which leaves at 23:06 from Sants Estacio! Cunit is a small non-touristy town. We did not spend much time here but we did eat at several of the local restaurants, shopped at the local super market and spent some time at the beach. There are many quaint beach cities up and down the coast within easy driving distance. The beach in Cunit perfect for swimming and small children since it has been divided into several smaller lagoon-like areas. The water is clean and warm. It is very common to see topless women at this beach just like any other in Spain. Between the villa and town, there is a very nicely maintained public pool and tennis club which you can use for a small fee. Just north of Cunit, you can go horseback riding. We absolutely loved staying at this villa and will return again!!!!!!
