Simone was extremely accommodating and understanding when we had trouble with our cell phone and internet connections. He went out of his way to meet us at the property on short notice. The apartment was well appointed, including cooking basics (olive oil, vinegar, etc.) that other properties didn't provide. There was a supermarket close by with all we needed for our stay. Main attractions were only a few streets away, and there were helpful brochures and maps in the room. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the amount of extra towels and bedding stored in the apartment, as they limited closet space for us.
This property is exceptionally prepared for guests , and to a high standard. Sara, the owner/manager, is a gracious host with a warm and helpful nature, and is only too happy to assist as need be. The apartment is very centrally located close to the main piazza , and an ideal base to explore the beautiful medieval city of Siena, which maintains it’s heritage to a significant and educational degree. The only slight reservation to a stay here would be for those wanting a quiet and serene place, as the central streets can be quite noisy at times with passing Vespa’s et.al - for some, this might even add to the atmosphere, however it’s something to be aware of nonetheless. All in all a wonderful stay, and would come back again.
