My husband and I spent a delightful month (February, 2019) at 1111 Watson St. (Unit C) in Key West, Florida. The house has a shared pool with table and chairs just outside the front door. It is in a compound with two other houses, set behind a locked gate. It has a lovely, private deck in the back yard (again, with table and chairs). The house is comfortably furnished and has two bedrooms. Our grown daughter visited for a week and the three of us were very relaxed and comfortable in the house. We would definitely stay there again.

The Galleon Resort has everything my wife and I need. Quiet studio apartment, good basic housekeeping, Tiki Bar, small private beach, fitness center, beautiful pool and decking; in short, just perfect for a couple. The location is absolutely spot on for us; a short walk to Duval Street, Truman Annex, Mallory Square, etc. The kitchenette is small but functional, holding a few basic items and not equipped for fancy cooking. You can get almost any type of cooking vessel/appliance from the front desk if you wish to cook. But, hey, you are in Key West and have access to some of the best happy hours you'll ever find. The owner/host, Ed, is great to deal with and very responsive to messages and calls. There are a few minor things/inconveniences related to the functionality of some electrical outlets and switches but nothing else that diminished our overall experience. The WIFI is generally good, including at the pool and on the beach, but has occasional spotty coverage. Again, not a big deal. We have been to Key West three times and the Galleon was by far the best of the three - way better. We really enjoyed our stay and have already booked for 2020.
