I have stayed at Sugar Top for over 30 years. We prefer the ski slope side of the building and the eighth floor. This unit is an end unit so you are all the way at the end of the hall which for some may seem like a walk if you are coming and going a lot but that can also mean quieter.
The unit has been opened up and a washer and dryer have been added. There is an array of cooking appliances including a instant pot. If you are there for any extended time make sure you bring your own laundry detergent and trash bags. Beds and linens are comfortable and there are plenty of bath and pool towels. Everything was very clean.
I noticed other reviews (not necessarily on this unit) talk about the fireplace being loud during high winds. I'm not sure if some units are louder but we had high winds when we were there and it wasn't that bad. Just make sure you shut both glass balcony doors because if you leave one open during high winds you will get a loud whistling sound.
